Q: My transfer on PandaMoney has been marked as failed. Will I get my money back?
Yes. If PandaMoney is unable to process a transfer after receiving the funds, the money will be returned to your originating bank account. Refunds are processed via the same payment method used for the original transfer and are subject to standard return timelines:
Typically within minutes to a few hours.SEPA Instant returns:
1–3 business days, subject to cut-off times.SEPA Credit Transfer returns:
Usually within 1 business day.Faster Payments returns:
📌 Refunds are returned to the original bank account from which the payment was made. PandaMoney does not send returns to third-party accounts.
Q: My transfer failed before PandaMoney even received the funds. Will the debit on my account be reversed?
If the payment failed before leaving your bank (for example, due to a bank hold that was subsequently declined, or an incorrect account number), your bank should automatically reverse the debit. This can take 1–5 business days depending on your bank's internal processes. If the reversal has not appeared after 5 business days, contact your bank directly with the original payment reference.
Q: Can I cancel a transfer if it is still pending?
Once a SEPA or Faster Payment has been dispatched by your bank into the payment network, it generally cannot be cancelled mid-transit. However, if the transfer is still showing as 'processing' at your bank and has not yet been released, you may be able to request a cancellation directly with your bank. Contact PandaMoney support at the same time so we can flag the transaction on our end.
